The main motivation for the creation of this blog is to share stories with my family and friends.

The first set of stories are based on true events as recounted by my mother in her journals from 1969 through to 1985. If you have just arrived to the blog go to Archived and read from the bottom up as the journal entries are listed in posting date order with the latest at the top.

Comments are very welcome, however, this blog is hosted by WordPress which aims to prevent spam – to post a comment your identity must first be verified via a valid email address. It is the internet after all!
